Eastbourne Man Charged With Terrorism Offences

From Sussex News

A man from Sussex has been charged with terrorism offences following an investigation by Counter Terrorism Policing South East.

Mohammed Abdulkalik Fadil Alazawi, 35, of Bedford Grove in Eastbourne, was charged on Saturday (7 March) with three counts of encouraging people to commit, prepare or instigate acts of terrorism.

The charges are brought under Terrorism Act 2006.

Police said Alazawi has been remanded in custody and is due to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Monday (9 March).

AI suggests that the court appearance took place yesterday but no details have been released. But as some commentators on social media remark – “the real threat to peace in this country does NOT come from the imaginary “Far Right” that Hard Left politicians keep going on about.”
