From the Telegraph. Here and here and here
Protesters have demanded police release descriptions and CCTV footage of the men suspected of gang-raping a woman outside a church in Surrey.
Police are investigating after several men attacked the woman in Epsom in the early hours of Saturday morning. The woman, in her 20s, was followed after leaving the town’s Labyrinth nightclub.
On Wednesday night, dozens of protesters demanded that police release descriptions of the men and details of their ethnicities.
Surrey Police said it was still working to identify the suspects. A spokesman said: “At this early stage, we do not have full descriptions of any potential suspects.
The use of the word “full” is doing some heavy lifting here.
“We will release further details once we have them. The victim is being supported by a specialist sexual offences liaison officer, who is helping her through the process at her own pace.”
East Surrey Chief Superintendent Mark Chapman said: “. . . I would urge people not to speculate about the descriptions of these suspects as this may lead to additional tensions within our local communities. ..
The attack is believed to have taken place outside Epsom Methodist Church, in Ashley Road, between 2am and 4am. The church is 100 yards from the nightclub. It is not yet clear how many men took part in the alleged rape.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen something suspicious is urged to contact the police.
The force is also asking for motorists who may have dashcam footage to get in touch with detectives.
Police with riot shields were seen forming a barrier across the high street in the commuter town and traffic was brought to a standstill.

Police with riot shields brought out against concerned residents and white working class patriotic men; fathers and husbands. Two tier policing again!
Double standards and two-tier policing is rapidly driving down trust in the police and our justice system. The public does notice when, strangely enough, Merseyside Police was rather more transparent when a car was driven into crowds during Liverpool FC’s Premier League victory parade, saying that a white British man had been arrested.
A man referred to as Pete addressed the banks of officers with a microphone, saying: “We came here today to deliver a letter to the police. Unfortunately, we have not been able to do that, but they very kindly joined us. Let’s read that letter out to them.”
His letter was greeted with cheers by protesters, some of whom then approached the riot police for heated discussions.
In a Telegraph podcast Camilla Tominey and Jacob Rees-Mogg speak to Maggie Oliver, a grooming-gangs whistleblower and former detective, who says trust in policing has broken down and that “silence is dangerous” when tensions are so high.
They also reflect on the presence of Tommy Robinson supporters at the protest, asking whether they are there simply to stir up trouble in the absence of reliable information and discuss whether flooding Epsom with riot police represents two-tier policing.
A cursory inspection via Google street view sows at least 9 CCTV cameras along the 100 yards of pavement between the nightclub the young woman had attended and the Methodist Church (a very ‘refugees’ welcome place, with a clergywoman who ‘deplores’ the protest) where the attack occured. This is a well-lit High Street, not a isolated back alley. These men were arrogant and confident enough not to want seclusion for their crime.
