I don’t think crypto currentcy is an answer either, and there’s a lot more could have been crammed into a 5 minute number (making it a full musical or concept album) but they have captured something there, and it’s triggered the right people.
I would like everyone look at this you tube video about Ellesmere Port (once a thriving community) and after the shock you will realize that the banned ad is too close to the truth for comfort.
I love the Liverpool accent of the narrator.. sounds like me bruvver😊
I should add that parts of downtown Vancouver ( where I now live ) are displaying the same neglect. Office towers are only half full, weeds starting to grow in their outdoor plazas, most of the fast food places underneath are struggling or have failed.
Maybe we are witnessing the slow death of downtown commercial areas, the only thing that seems to keep them alive is tourism but there’s none of that in the winter months and rent is a 12 month issue.
The developers seem to think that building apartment blocks on their sites is the answer but where do these people find jobs within driving distance ?

“Viewers may question whether crypto is necessarily the answer to these problems – many of which run much deeper than financial institutions alone – but there’s no denying the issues raised are on the money.”

Reminds me of “Every Sperm is Sacred” from the Meaning of Life. Very clever.
I like. Can’t wait for the full musical.
