Eli Cohen, a Mizrahi Jew born in Egypt, was incredibly courageous and provided Israel with priceless intelligence.
He was part of the other side of the refugee coin created by the combined Arab attack by a half dozen nations and the butchers of Hitler’s good buddy and head of the Waffen SS Brigade for the Balkans, the chief mufti of Jerusalem, Hajj Amin al-Husseini, on a minuscule nation of Israel Reborn in May 1948.
While the world was bombarded with stories about the plight of Arab refugees—made so by the actions of their brethren—no attention at all was paid to the plight of more Jewish refugees fleeing Arab and other Muslim lands than vice versa.
And while Arabs, due to the power of Arab petro-potentates and their international oil company partners like ARAMCO, got the UN to create an agency which would be financed with billions of dollars to assist solely Arab refugees—UNRWA—no such agency was formed to assist Jewish refugees…many literally fleeing for their lives with nothing more than the clothes they were wearing.
Sasha Baron Cohen starred in a 6-part movie streaming on Netflix about him which is available now, I believe. I will be personally saying a prayer and watching that series again in honor of his memory.
Regarding the current “peace” deal in Gaza, the newest reports show Arab celebrations in Gaza with many of them dancing in the streets chanting “Itbach al-Yahud”…slaughter the Jews.
Why am I not shocked…
Hence, here’s what really needs to be demanded by any nation—let alone one as small as Israel—facing such an existentially genocidal enemy…
Forget typical “hudna” ceasefires which only allow Hamas to regroup elsewhere, rearm courtesy of its Qatari and other Arab, Iranian, and Turkish benefactors and enablers for the long term which will result in only more dead and mutilated Jews down the road.
Hamas & Co. needs to suffer the exact same fate it pledged o bring to Israel and Jews everywhere…total annihilation.
The Israelis have been utter fools for far too long.
Instead of taking armed murderers captive, they need to be eliminated on the spot.
The alternative is what Israel has been doing repeatedly:
Trading hundreds of Arab butchers of its innocents, including microwavers and beheaders of its infants, for the bodies of dead Jews.

America and the Allies demanded total victory and absolute, unconditional surrender of Imperial Japan and Nazi Germany n World War II.
After suffering the equivalent of 40,000 slaughtered American civilians on Simchat Torah, October 7, 2023, and another 38,000 equivalent military losses, Israel must have the fortitude to settle for no less.
When its “friends” twist its collective arms to do otherwise, it must then resolve to relentlessly hunt down the perpetual murderers of its people afterwards—wherever they are.
The Mossad and its affiliates know how to do this very well.Otherwise, this newest ceasefire will only be yet another 1993 Oslo-like peace of the grave afterwards.

For the record, in 1954 Eli Cohen also assisted Egyptian Jews who participated in the so-called Lavon Affair, an Israeli false flag operation which involved planting bombs inside American, Egyptian and British-owned civilian targets (cinemas, libraries, and US educational centres), the aim being to sabotage Egypt’s relationship with the Western world (Arabs/Muslims were to be blamed). As with that other failed false flag, the USS Liberty incident in 1967 (in which 34 US sailors died), Israel denied involvement until they no longer could. Isn’t Israel a wonderful ally?
That’s obviously your story… but what’s the real story (especially that of the USS Liberty)????

Regarding the Lavon affair, the details are well documented. Israel’s international image suffered considerable damage: Defense Minister of Defense Pinhas Lavon was made the scapegoat; and Prime minister Moshe Sharett, an honourable man but kept in the dark, also resigned. The real culprits in the Intel agencies got off scott-free. As usual, Israel publicly denied involvement. The truth came out 50 later: “in 2005 the surviving agents were awarded certificates of appreciation by Israeli President Moshe Katsav“. More importantly, this was the moment when the intelligence apparatus took over as a shadow government in Israel (in much the same way as the security state did in the US after the JFK assassination). Since then, Israel has been governed by terrorists and thugs like Menachem Begin (Irgun), Yitzhak Shamir (Lehi), Ariel Sharon and of course Netanyahu. And the practice of staging terrorist acts & blaming them on the Arabs has continued to this day.
As for the USS Liberty Incident, there is no better resource than the findings of the 2003 Independent Commission of Inquiry into the 1967 attack on the USS Liberty. The timeline & details of the attack are meticulously laid out and every point in the Israeli version of events is addressed. The Israeli jets were unmarked. And the attack was savage in its intensity and duration (longer than Pearl Harbour): the Israelis bombed, strafed & dropped napalm and survivors in life rafts were machine-gunned by Israeli torpedo boats. This was clearly a deliberate effort to sink an American ship and murder its entire crew. Despite Israeli jamming, a message got out to 2 US aircraft carriers during the attack & aircraft were launched. But this “rescue” mission was immediately recalled on direct orders from the White House! That was the beginning of the cover-up. Israel immediately went into denial mode, and when this was no longer possible produced the laughable assertion that they had been unable to identify the Liberty: it was clearly marked with a large US flag (later replaced by an even larger one during the attack)! Surviving crew members were later threatened with “court-martial, imprisonment or worse” if they exposed the truth. The US cover-up from the White House down was due to intense pressure by the pro-Israel lobby in the US, including “advice” from ardent Zionist Mathilde Krim who “stayed at the White House during much of the 1967 war and was a regular caller at the Israeli Embassy ..“. She was also rumoured to be one of LBJ’s mistresses at the time.
The independent commission of 2003 was chaired by Admiral Thomas H. Moorer, former Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff. The other committee members were General of Marines Raymond G. Davis (MOH), former Assistant Commandant of the Marine Corps (one of America’s most decorated heroes), Rear Admiral Merlin Staring, former Judge Advocate General of the Navy and Ambassador James Akins, former U.S. Ambassador to Saudi Arabia. Remarkably – although it ought to be entirely UNremarkable – there was eyewitness testimony from victims of the attack. In not a single “investigation” before this 2003 commission were any of the Liberty’s surviving crew members permitted to testify publicly! Truly remarkable, though, was some reaction when a small suburban library in Grafton Wisconsin was permitted to be named by generous donors. Their suggestion was the “USS Liberty Memorial Public Library“; and local Zionists immediately called it “antisemitism”! Isn’t Israel a wonderful ally?
