Isis claims responsibility for Westminster atrocity

From Yahoo News

Isis has claimed responsibility for the attack in London in which four people were killed. In a statement, issued via its Amaq news agency, a spokesperson said a ‘soldier of the Islamic state’ had carried out the attack – which caused the deaths of two civilians and a serving policeman.

The statement made no mention of direct involvement in the attack, but investigators believe that it was inspired by Islamist terrorism.

In a statement, the terror group said: ‘The perpetrator of the attacks yesterday in front of the British parliament in London is an Islamic State soldier and he carried out the operation in response to calls to target citizens of the coalition.’

Police have asked for the identity of the terrorist not to be revealed by the media
