This is a fantastic and very casual interview- one scholar interviewing another scholar. It’s extremely heartening to see two brilliant academics analyzing and understanding the collapse of the academy and of the wider culture, the causes and the implications of it, too. This is a hopeful, excellent interview. Pair with a Syrah or a Super Tuscan, but not a Chardonnay. No, no. Cancel that. Pair with a bourbon or scotch.
