An Islamic militant has posted a video on the internet boasting that he has arrived in Canada to kill Asia Bibi.
In the video, the would-be assassin sings an Islamic chant honouring Muhammad, the founder of Islam, and professes that he is a beloved believer of Islam who will slay “the blasphemer Asia Bibi.”
The man tells the “enemies of Islam and the Jew government that set Asia Bibi free” that he will kill her, according to a May 14 statement sent to Catholic News Service by the British Pakistani Christian Association.
The association also said a number of churches in Pakistan have received threats from militants following Bibi’s release May 8.
Wilson Chowdhry, association chairman, said the release was “a real bone of contention with the millions of radicalised Muslims across the globe who are waiting for an opportunity to assassinate Asia Bibi, or a mass terrorist strike in revenge for what they see as a perceived blasphemy.”
“It is not known whether the threat made by the man in the video is genuine or not, however, the fact that the video exists is a chilling concern,” he said. “We have informed American, British, Canadian and Pakistani officials of fear for Asia Bibi’s safety and many other innocents who will be targeted because of hatred for her.”

I hope that she’s been assigned a personal body guard – it should be an *honour* guard! – of some of Canada’s best, whether from the Mounties or from the Canadian equivalent of the SAS. And dogs! A brace of large, black, and very well-trained dogs would be nice.
I would encourage Canadian readers of this blog to write to their elected representatives and to the PM and leader of the opposition and also to all Canadian non-Muslim religious leaders, citing this article at length and stating the flaming obvious: if NO Mohammedans had been permitted to enter and settle in Canada in large numbers, if there were NO ‘Mohammedan community’ within the gates, then these threats would be nothing but hot air, because the long arm of the ummah would NOT be able to reach out across the seas, rivers and mountains to pursue Asia Bibi even in her country of refuge. The Mohammedan community IS – the fact must be faced – the sheltering sea within which any jihadi assassin setting out to murder Asia Bibi, will be hidden and protected; or from which such an assassin *will* arise, heeding the command to KILL. If there were NO Muslims and NO mosques in Canada, Asia Bibi would be safe. Since there *are* Muslims, and Mosques, in Canada, she is not. And anyone who denies that that is the case, is a fool.
