Every communication from governments, charities or “eco friendly” businesses, has a statement avowing their acknowledgement of the spurious notion that we are all living on stolen land. It beggars belief to think that the titans of industry and the executive of government fold like cheap suits when it comes to indigenous claims.
These are people who hire and fire by the thousands, people who determine the future of Provinces and Cities and yet they’re scared of their own shadows when it comes to Indian Affairs.

Even though we know from genetics that the Indians came from Asia across the Bering Land bridge, they lay claim to being the “first peoples” placed here by some sort of magic and thus have ownership of great swaths of land.
How come then, that they don’t have such claims in the USA , how come I can’t go back in history and claim land my forefathers lived on in Wales or Ireland?
Making these “acknowledgement” statements only stokes the fires of unrest in the bands and brutally undermines the fee simple structure of land ownership in Canada.
They have to put a stop to this divisive method of communication because it dries up potential investment when there’s uncertainty about who you’ll have to pay rent or concession fees to.
Even our own City Hall has a “land claims” acknowledgement on their email communications…
Can there be anything more ridiculous than your own city hall, tax collecting, fee gouging, overpaid administration, telling you that they don’t own the land that City Hall is sitting on?
Here it is in all its glory.
The City of Vancouver acknowledges that it is situated on the unceded traditional territories of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam Indian Band), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh Úxwumixw (Squamish Nation), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh Nation).
For those who don’t quite understand “unceded”, to the indigenous mind, means “stolen”

its all part of the End Times when up is down black is white right is wrong and wrong is right. nothing and no one can be trusted as true original and accurate, AI destroys relibility of digital court evidence where a precedent sets the standard. a very dangerous time indeed.
where it is true in some goegraphic locations that the SCOC makes a decision throwing serious doubt on owership and thus sellability of properties that were fine in that regard for generations.
where next? is the question. where indeed. the claim doesnt even have to be made, just the thought it COULD be made ‘somewhere’ throwing uncertainty where the ‘first’ peoples will target next.
and regarding ‘first’, is that the first ‘first’ or the last ‘first’ who were the one ‘there’ when the white man showed up some time after 1492? questions question, very *inconvenient* questions that no one is asking right now.
Nearly every place on Earth has a chain of owners going back time out of mind. Should the tribal people be asked to go back to Asia? Were NO humans in North or South America prior to the Asian invaders?
