Muslim Country Sees ‘Northern Lights’

It isn’t how far south the Aurora Borealis is visible that makes this report from On Islam so interesting. It shows yet another example of the adage that territory once held for Islam is Islamic forever.

However the strong solar activity brought it to more southern latitudes, including Omsk city in the Muslim country of Sibir which lies under Russian occupation since 1598

Reporters and astronomers also confirmed that residents of Kazan, the capital city of the Muslim country of Tatarstan, watched the colorful display too.
