Oh, Oh, Canada

By Armando Simón

The totalitarian worshipping Justin Trudeau was recently replaced as prime minister by another liberal globalist Mark Carney. Trudeau was highly unpopular with many Canadian people for wrecking the economy, impoverishing its citizens, allowing unlimited immigration for the purpose of a Great Replacement, fostering the lie of mass graves of native children, and using the Canadian Charter of rights and Freedom as toilet paper.

Trudeau labeled as “Nazis” Canadians who protested during the Freedom Convoy against the covid fiasco’s restrictions, broke up the legal assembly and persecuted the participants by crippling them economically through his stooges in the banking sector. Recently, two of the leaders of the Freedom Convoy were convicted.

Trudeau was also seen as a buffoon.

To be sure, liberals thought of him as a fine fellow.

His successor can hardly be seen as Canadian since he is a citizen of three countries and, therefore, his allegiances are divided, a true globalist. Even if Carney renounces his various citizenships, his loyalty lies with Davos rather than Canada. By getting Trudeau out of the spotlight, it was hoped that the Liberal Party’s sagging support would improve, even though the various disasters were strongly supported by the members of the Party. He also indulged in some (temporary) cosmetic changes: on April Fools’ Day he did away with the hated consumer carbon tax. Clearly, Carney is of the opinion that if you put lipstick on a pig, people will line up to kiss it.

However, he has one ace up his sleeve and that is Donald Trump. Trump’s idiotic trolling Canada by saying it should become the 51st state touched a nerve with many Canadians, justifiably so. The reciprocal tariffs imposed by the American President was seen as an attack on Canada, even though he imposed reciprocal tariffs in over a hundred nations that have imposed tariffs on American goods (Canadian provinces also impose tariffs—on each other).

After all, Anti-Americanism is a Canadian pastime, second only to hockey.

So, it made sense for Carney to call elections for the end of April. It must be remembered that for over a century, unpopular leaders have received a boost in popularity by pointing to an external threat, real or imagined. This is certainly the case here, as Carney postures and beats his sunken chest in defiance of America, and tries to appear as a pillar of strength. Meanwhile, elections are compounded by the Conservative Party of Canada putting out campaign ads that are as stupid as American conservatives’ ads during elections.

And to complicate matters more, some Canadians in Alberta want independence and/or becoming the 51st US state if the liberals win the elections and reforms are not immediately carried out (independence would make more sense).

We shall soon see.
