How I wish President Trump had not strong-armed FIFA into reversing its decision to suspend Folarin Balogun. Games are as much a test of character as they are of skill. Watching England’s 10 men defy the waves of Mexican attackers put 10 years on the ancient shoulders of old GROUCH! but it rai
sed the team’s stature to a new level. The President’s intervention to right a wrong has denied the US players the opportunity to do the same.

Really?
We just celebrated Independence Day and one of the key rights we have is appealing decisions by judges and juries that are wrong.
There was an appeal. The Ref’s poor decision was overtuned and rightly so.
I don’t like soccer or NBA basketball but they one thing in common: the amount of grabbing, pushing, shoving in both sports is off the charts. About 1% of the infractions are
identified by the Refs. So the Red Card was totally arbitrary.
Can’t wait til the World Cup is over.
Amusing of you to admit you don’t care about soccer and don’t know anything about it, yet you want to give your opinion on an issue you don’t understand.
Stick to subjects on which you at least have a smidgen of knowledge, Mr. Red Blood, you’re embarrassing yourself by trying to opine on this one.
Mr. Galt, Do you approve of the most powerful man in the world intervening on behalf of his team? Really?
Reg, if I were you I wouldn’t engage John Galt III.
The decision is a horror both as a decision and precedent. That is categorically not how one goes about making America Great again.
