The hijra is the migration from lands controlled by the Unbelievers, to lands where Believers rule. It’s one of those Muslim rules from the earliest days that is to be encouraged. Today the Muslims within Europe who of course want to stay – life is so much better than in the places they come from, and there is so much Jizyah to collect, albeit informally, and above all, if they just stay put, and keep out-reproducing the Unbelievers, Dar al-Harb will soon enough become Dar al-Islam. But if measures are taken now to make it difficult, even impossible, for Muslims to continue to live off the largesse of the non-Muslim taxpayers, if it is difficult, or impossible,to build more mosques, or to slaughter meat in the halal fashion, if it is difficult, or impossible, for Muslims to continue to lead the lives of hostility, aggression, and violence that they have so far gotten away with, making ever-more demads on the indigenous non-Muslims for changes in the laws and customs and understandings, then perhaps more than a handful will decide that Hijra is the only solution. And it should be.
