Sex abuse gang victim wanted to ‘shower with bleach’ after being raped by taxi driver in his flat

The trial of Iranian men in Chelmsford continues. From the Basildon Echo

A TEENAGE victim of an Iranian sex abuse gang wanted to “shower with bleach” after being raped by a taxi driver in his flat, a court heard.

Mohammed Rostami, 37, and Amin Kaveh, 35, both of The Renown, Shoebury, and Mehdi Zare, 32, of Lupin Drive, Chelmsford, are standing trial on multiple charges of rape and sexual abuse relating to three victims.

The pizza shop delivery man met her through the shop and befriended her, before forcing her to snort the designer drug mephedrone. This led to an addiction which Kaveh exploited by making her work as a prostitute for two years. The court heard how during this time she would be driven around Essex and London to have sex with dozens of Iranian men, being told “bad things” would happen if she did not.

Mohammed Zarei, 32, also a taxi driver, of Delamere Road, Chelmsford, is alleged to have raped the same girl on another occasion.

Rostami is alleged to have got a different girl hooked on mephedrone, also known as Miaow-Miaow, in 2006, raping her and forcing her to have sex with dozens of Iranians between 2006 and 2012. Zare was also allegedly involved in her abuse and took over her control when Rostami got bored.

Kaveh is accused of luring a girl, 16, from Southend, into working for him as a prostitute, also by getting her hooked on drugs.

The men deny all the sexual offences but Kaveh, Rostami and Zare admit supplying the drugs.
