This is from The Times of Malta advertising a forthcoming TV news report. The Maltese were under the yoke of islam for half a millenium during the Middle Ages and their heroic struggle at the Great Siege of Malta in 1565 halted Islamic re-expansion into the western Mediterranean until recent years. So it comes as no surprise when you read the comments that most Maltese are wise to the methods Muslims use to claim their sacred space. And they want none of it.
A decision by a group of Muslims to gather and pray in a public space in Msida has prompted anger and resentment. The Muslims say they have no choice to gather in public after they were evicted from the meeting place without a valid reason. Has the Paola mosque really become too small? Why shouldn’t Muslims have a right to pray publicly the same way Christians do? Have the recent terrorist attacks served to add the antagonism?
This is the background last week.
Some 200 Muslims gathered again in Msida square near the parish church for Friday prayers this afternoon, and a foundation which represents them said they were meeting there only because they had been evicted from their meeting place, without proper reason. This was the third time that the group met in Msida for prayers. If you follow the link to the video this is the moment that the sound of Allah Akbar echos across the square. And while the reporter describes the place as ‘near the parish church’ you can see that they are right outside it, a position not lost of the local residents who have commented below.
The Malta Muslim Council Foundation said in a statement that in 15 years, four premises that were used by the community were closed to them without proper reasons. “We are holding our Friday obligatory congregational prayer outside with the kind permission of the police. We are fully aware that this is not the proper solution to the issue,”
From the comments
? No, for one thing they have a mosque where they meet up and pray, secondly they also have outdoor space
there, three they should not be allowed to pray in front of a Catholic church…and four…they do not allow us to even wear a cross in their own countries so why should we allow them to do whatever they like?
? Definitely no, They have ample grounds around the mosque in Paola besides the mosque itself and the hundreds of illegal garages all around the island. What is happening in Msida is just a show or better a pantomime. I invite the authorities to visit all the Garages and the Mosque at the same moment when they are praying and see for themselves if they are truly full up!
? No, they should not be allowed to pray in public. They have a place where they can go without creating any problem to the Maltese community. This is not a prayer group but a show of force to show us that the can do what they like in our country.
The government should stop this arrogance by the Muslim community before the situation gets out of hand and before the heat escalates, because if this heat becomes a flame it might become an inferno and it will be impossible to be extinguished.
?No. They should not.
Arabic School, San Gwann…
Multi Faith Room, University of Malta…
Multi Faith Chapel, MaterDei…
Muslim Cemeteries…
Their outdoor prayers are nothing but a clear signal of trying to provoke, or create rebus.
? This is playing with fire. They are testing the grounds for expansion. Where these things (in European countries) went unchecked, there was not a happy ending. If we REALLY appreciate freedom of speech and freedom of religion we cannot allow islam to proliferate in non-Islamic countries. Unlike ALL other religions, it is not compatible with freedom and democracy. Also, it explicitly endorses violence and terror towards the infidels. It also encourages Taqqiyya; deception of the infidels until they are overcome. I’m not saying that all muslims are bad. It is the ideology that is dangerous.

it saddens me to see the Island of Malta fall to Islam. This is exactly what is happening. They will use our laws of decency and tolerance to further their invasion.
make no mistake.
They are breaching our walls and we are stood on the ramparts offering our hands.
Could not a herd of big black boar not be gathered together, somehow, and kept in reserve, not far from the church? Then the next time the mohammedan males engage in their mass threat display – because that is what it is – turn loose the pigs? Oh dear, oh dear! It was an accident, a regrettable accident?
Dogs, I understand, interfere with ‘allah’s’ ability to hear his slaves. Pigs might be difficult to gather together and keep in reserve until needed; dogs, less so. Lots of big black ones, released at one side of the square and called to the other; joyously bounding and barking….
And then, there is the church. Does it have bells?
The *instant* that the Mohammedans begin their Threat Display, a large team of big burly Maltese men (with more waiting in reserve, and those reserves should have their dogs with them) begin ringing the alarm on the church bells. The sound of Christian church bells, apparently, cause Islamic ‘angels’ (i.e. devils) to flee.
One hopes that that church rings the Angelus at all the required times. If it doesn’t it should start doing so. And on top of the Angelus, at midday, it should recall the days of Pope Calixtus, around the time of the Fall of Constantinople, and ring the so-called “Turkish Bell” (more properly, the Jihad Bell) which summons the faithful to pray for the defeat of the jihad.
Time to start fighting back. Time for psy-ops.
And if the mohammedans take umbrage, and riot, well, then the Maltese can raise merry hell, and demand that the Mohammedans who rioted be *removed* from the island.
