Canadian Authorities Ignored Islamic Terror in Downtown Toronto
Benjamin J. Dichter in his Honking for Freedom substack remembers these murders in Toronto in 2018.
Yesterday marked the 7th anniversary of the tragic Danforth shooting in Toronto.
On July 22, 2018, an Islamic extremist walked through my neighbourhood and executed children who were out for ice cream with their parents, critically injuring several innocent bystanders.
No one in government has been held accountable for this tragedy, and the entire political class collaborated to sweep it under the rug. Worse, not a single word was mentioned by any politician or member of the media yesterday to mark the 7th anniversary.
This submission to foreign extremists who hold violent and alien values is yet another reason Canada is increasingly seen as pathetic, weak, and a security risk by nations around the world.
He then repeats the article by John Goddard, originally posted on July 27, 2020, for the second anniversary, not marked publicly because of pandemic restrictions.

Police Suppressed Details On Danforth Shooter’s Trip To Pakistan: Entire Magazine Emptied Into Prone Girl
TORONTO—His first target was a group of teenage girls eating ice cream.
He shot one girl through the hip, another in the stomach, a third twice in the stomach and kidney, and a fourth, Reese Fallon, three times in the left arm. The first three victims crumpled to the pavement.
Many details of that Sunday night two years ago, on July 22, were never made public. Police never disclosed that Fallon sustained 13 bullets, most of them fired point-blank. News reporters never put together that eight high-school friends stood at the parkette, seven girls and one guy, and that half of them were shot.
The next day, police reported a total of fifteen people shot, including two dead, but the civilian Special Investigations Unit ordered the shooter’s name withheld. Late in the day, when the unit relented and announced the name — a Muslim name — police and politicians warned against jumping to conclusions.
Police cited possible Islamic terrorism when they applied for search warrants, and the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) began a six-month probe into potential terrorist ties. Authorities also knew that the shooter’s brother was linked to the discovery of a chemical-weapons cache with serious national-security implications.
The shooter was Faisal Hussain. He was 29 years old, a skinny man with a long face, heavy eyebrows, and a close-cropped black beard. He still lived with his parents, devout Muslims from Pakistan.
Ten minutes after the shooting started, as police closed in, Hussain shot himself in the head.
“Our son had severe mental health challenges, struggling with psychosis and depression his entire life,” a press statement attributed to Hussain’s family said, but it would prove to be misleading.

FILTHY LIBERALS love The Depravity of Islam
EVERY Muslim should be exiled from the west
Ban Islam
Destroy Every Mosque
Deport the inbred imams
By the way, Faith Goldy was the ONLY person in media that exposed the Depraved Jihadi’s inbred brother.
The brother was found unconscious due to the bag of 94lbs of Carfentanil.
94lbs of Carfentanil is considered a WMD. A Nerve Agent able to kill 2.5 Billion People.
What was Danforth shooters brother doing with that much Carfentanil????
This was in Pickering Ontario.
Where Green Jobs are Brown Jobs.
This was indeed a horrible tragedy, recognizing this is very important but, mixing it with clearly racist overtones and derogatory references to Muslims I can tell ya does zero to help this important cause. I started reading out of interest and the further I got into the article the more disgusted I was certainly at the crime that was committed and unfortunately the deep seeded hatred coming from the author – I don’t support this type of hateful rhetoric at ANY time but do support keeping the names of those innocent victims in our minds on the anniversary- no one deserves to die like this!!
I hate to say this, but right now “my people” are being subjected to real big-time “deep seeded (sic) hatred” and with some exceptions most people aren’t blinking (so to speak).
Perhaps you should choose different words, because once these people have satiated their “deep seeded (sic) hatred” toward “my people” they will turn their attention to “your people” no matter who your people happen to be.
Let’s stop calling it “Islamophobia” or “deep seeded (sic) hatred” and instead call it a “deep antipathy”. We are entitled to a deep antipathy toward those whose clearly stated intention is to cleanse the world of people like you and me… and many others who are not like them.
Oh, and you mention this being an “important cause”. What exactly is this “important cause”?
Outrageous.
