The Terrifying Couéism Of Bill Gates And His Misdirected Efforts

Here is his vision of the world in 2030. He appears now not to care about populatiion growth, but only about curing  diseases. He has nothing about global climate disruption. He appears to like the idea of one world, becoming ever more “inter-connnected” and, ideally, indivisible. “One world, under the Gates Foundation, with room and board for all.”

Instead of trying to prevent an even greater rise in the world’s population, what he is engaged will merely increase the numbers. Were he to succceed in his efforts, the efffect would be to make Africa’s population grow at an even faster rate than it now is.

And by doing this, he apparently has not considered, or possibly is indifferent to, the greater use — with that false “prosperity” that the spread of energy-using gewgaws of all sorts to people who do not realize how exaggerated are the benefits of all that stuff with which the supposedly advanced world has now decided to amuse and distract itself — of energy, and what that means for global climate disruption.

What Gates in his thoughtless goodness is doing hastens global warming, and global climate disruption, and attempts to impose on parts of the world that ought to be provided with the means to limit their skyrocketing  populations, and to take satisfaction in their own ancient ways, and not have to be dragged into another, quite different and for  them disrupting  world, and to avoid the reliance for  happiness on technological playthings, the introduction and encouragement of which will lead to much more ise of energy..

Instead, he might try to pay for, in the Western world, a campaign to mock and undercut the rush to acquire the playthings — including those made by Microsoft — whiich are part of the general degringolade. And iin the “less-developed” world, promote the intellligent virtues of that less development, which can make room for development of  more than the playthings — including the Internet, smart phones, and so on — that the young in the Western world have been led to believe are what they must have in order to lead full, rich lives.  .
