Time to Make Dr. Anthony Fauci Go Away

by Roger L. Simon

If we can’t put him in prison for crimes against humanity, as some would argue, it’s high time to make Dr. Anthony Fauci go away.

Considering his love affair with the media and vice-versa, this won’t be easy, even in the doctor’s supposed retirement.

In the past few days, he’s been back in the limelight, advising us to wear masks, even though he now acknowledges that the Cochrane Report just might be correct and wearing masks may have been irrelevant all along as far as contracting COVID-19 is concerned.

In fact, the Cochrane Report, which brought together the major studies on masks, has made it seem absurd, and destructive of relationships, to wear them.

Then, why do we? Well, just in case, Dr. Fauci says.

But that isn’t really the reason.

Clay Travis of “The Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show” radio program says masks are a “fashion statement.” Witty as that is, it’s not quite it either.

Something else more sinister is behind this.

Masks have become a symbol of compliance with government.

Although not quite as severe as the pervasive blue pajamas of Maoist China, wearing a mask at this point tells the world the wearer is a servant of the state.

It’s a signal. They obey, no matter what.

Sadly, minorities have found themselves most heavily targeted by this obvious brainwashing.

It wasn’t always that way. Early on in the pandemic-that-might-have-been-or-was-supposed-to-have-been, most people were confused about what to do. We hadn’t experienced anything like that before—or so we were told. That included then-President Donald Trump, who may have leaned too heavily on advice from Drs. Fauci and Deborah Birx. (Thankfully, he has changed his view.)

Wearing a mask, and following a whole host of regulations, was excusable then, although some were suspicious (actually a fair number, including the thousands of eminent doctors and scientists who signed the Great Barrington Declaration). It turns out they were right. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was also undeniably right.

But that was then and this is now. We have all received a dose of reality since, to the extent that even the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has recently conceded that having taken the vaccines may actually make certain matters worse, such as dealing with the latest COVID variant.

So it goes.

And yet our president and/or those advising or controlling him are planning on spending yet more billions on new vaccines to go along with proposals for more maskings, lockdowns, and school closings that will further dumb down our youth (if that were possible).

When I used the word sinister above it wasn’t an overstatement. It was more of an understatement.

Lord Acton, where are you? This is “absolute power tend[ing] to corrupt absolutely.”

What we are witnessing in this is the arrival of communism 4.0—or is it 5.0—through our health care system. As before, the rich prosper and eat at the French Laundry, while the poor and middle class, literally the rest, wear masks and sit at home with their screens.

This is how communism will arrive in the United States, not by a shot being fired but by millions of shots being blindly taken.

It’s far from accidental that among the many malfeasances of Dr. Fauci is the deliberate obfuscation of the United States’ (in other words, his) connection to the Wuhan Institute of Virology in communist China.

Shut up and take your meds!

Well, don’t.

This is a time, if there ever was one, to read or reread Henry David Thoreau’s “Civil Disobedience.”

And then exercise it.

Complying with the state by stopping at a red light is a good idea. Unquestioningly complying with their health care edicts, especially when doctors across the globe disagree, is sheer stupidity.

Meanwhile, let’s at least give Dr. Fauci the silent treatment. He’d probably hate that more than anything.

I know. It’s hard.

  1. I have never prayed for a man to have a life ending heart attack or severe stroke as this piece of evilness. Maybe a tiny asteroid would do nicely.
