Tommy Robinson denied visa for US visit to meet Republican members of congress

From The Telegraph

British far-Right activist Tommy Robinson (NOT far-right, just not far wrong) has not been granted a US visa to meet with Republican lawmakers in Washington this week, an organiser of the meeting said on Monday.

Daniel Pipes, president of the conservative Philadelphia-based Middle East Forum which invited Robinson to the United States, said the British activist recently applied for a visa at the US Embassy in London but now realizes it “will take a while” for him to be allowed into the country.

Robinson had planned to attend an event focusing on Islam which seven conservative Republican members of the U.S. House of Representatives have convened for Wednesday.

Fifty-five British lawmakers from both major political parties recently wrote to US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo requesting that Washington ban Robinson from visiting the United States. They said they were concerned he would use a US visa to launch a fundraising tour in the country.

A State Department spokesperson said US law prohibits the agency from discussing individual visa cases.

Meanwhile last week Paypal stopped handling payments for both Tommy Robinson and the EDL. There are alternatives. They will be used.

  1. “Fifty-five British lawmakers from both major political parties recently wrote to US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo requesting that Washington ban Robinson from visiting the United States. ” 55, eh? Do we know their *names*? And.. are there any Peers, or for that matter, MPs, who would be prepared to step up for Mr Robinson and declare that they see no reason whatever why he should be forbidden from leaving the UK… and making the very pointed point, that any supposedly democratic state that restricts the movements of those of its citizens who have NOT committed nor have ever sought to incite major crimes, but rather, merely because the citizen has expressed opinions that some in that State regard as “Forbidden” or blasphemous, is making itself look much more like a totalitarian dictatorship than a free country. Does HM Govt realize that it is looking more and more like the Third Recih, or like Soviet Russia, every day? Why is it that rabid jewhating fire-brreathing Islamic ‘clerics’ (gang bosses) seem to be able to move freely in and out of the UK; that Muslims who went off to join ISIS were able to do so, and many have been permitted to return; whilst a free British man, Tommy Robinson, is hounded, and is prevented from going to the USA – to visit a friend and ally and a sister democracy? There should be Questions asked in the House – in both Houses. Perhaps Malcolm Lord Pearson, Earl of Rannoch, might have something to say about the ever-more-sinister and repressive tactics that the Govt of Britain is employing against its own – non-Muslim – citizens.
