Trump’s Speech: Voting Machines, the CIA and China

Unlike ABC and NBC, I paid close attention to President Trump’s dramatic speech Thursday night because voter fraud, mail-in ballots, and, most of all, voting machines have been subjects of mine for some time.

Indeed, what I wrote about the machines got me threatened with a million-dollar lawsuit, censored by The Epoch Times, for whom I wrote about it, and then censored again by them, causing my publisher, Encounter Books, to have to pulp an entire edition of a book I wrote, after which this Substack is named—American Refugees—, and reprint it without my voting machines discussion.

The companies that make these machines are extremely litigious and have scared a lot of people. There’s a reason.

I have written about this before, but feel compelled to tell the story once again because I feel vindicated by President Trump, who threw a fair amount of shade on voting machines in his speech, though the headline was the Chinese mega-hack of the voting records of 220 million Americans. Given what I have seen of voting in multiple states, my guess is it wasn’t all that hard for them to do. (Early on, when I lived in California, my house was a polling place. Even then, when still a liberal, I thought something was fishy about the way people logged in just by giving their address.)

Of course the real villain of the speech is not the Chinese— they were just doing what totalitarian countries do—but the CIA, or a part of it, that was hiding this information from the president. Who are they? Names, please. This is beyond outrageous, and if proven, they are traitors to the nth degree and deserve to be punished accordingly.

But back to the voting machines. I was at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena watching the 2020 recount alongside a man named Garland Favorito, who runs a nonprofit called VoterGA dedicated to clean elections in the state. (He must be feeling vindicated tonight too.) We were about ten feet from some Dominion voting machines.

I asked Garland if they could be connected to the internet. His response: “Come on. I’ll show you.”

So we got up and walked over to the machines. A tall black man in a three-piece suit who worked for Dominion was standing there. Garland said to him, “I’m showing Roger how these connect to the internet.” The man nodded and smiled. Garland then took an Ethernet cable, inserted it into the back of the Dominion machine, walked about four feet and inserted the other end into a server. “Now it’s connected,” he said. The Dominion man again nodded and smiled.

I reported just this, and all Hell broke loose. The article I wrote has disappeared from the internet. (Maybe on the Dark Web somewhere.)

Around that time, I got contacted by a Venezuelan living in DC. He showed me a short video of a man named Jorge Rodriguez, which he claimed was being widely distributed in his country. In the video, Rodriguez demonstrated how a voting machine (I’m not sure what kind it was, but they all seem to use the same software) could fix an election in 45 seconds. Rodriquez—a leftist revolutionary trained as a psychiatrist—was apparently an important guy in his country. (I turned out later he was the brother of Delcy Rodriquez, now running Venezuela.)

I asked the man why he would show such a thing in public. Why give away the game? He shook his head in wonder at my ignorance. “In a dictatorship,” he said, “the goal is to scare people, to show them there is nothing they can do. The government holds all the cards and to shut up. This does that.”

I took his point.

Epoch Times didn’t want to publish that either. It was “unsubstantiated.” In their defense, it was. On the other hand, I am reasonably sure it was all true.

Over the next week or two, like so many others, I will be procrastinating on regular work (in my case, the sequel to EMET) to pore over the documents on WhiteHouse.gov as they are released. I don’t have to tell you this is a very big deal. The Democrats are going to go berserk. They will throw as much mud at the wall as they can find. The word donnybrook comes to mind. The Dem Party is already teetering with average Americans because of their Democratic Socialist whackos, and they know it. Just ask James Carville. If these revelations are what Trump says they are, they could just throw them over the brink.
