From London 24
A Reddit London user posted a link to the video with the caption “white guy beaten up on Brick Lane, outside the Mosque of all places”.
One man wearing traditional Muslim dress can be seen grabbing someone wearing a hoodie and jeans, wrestling him to the ground and punching him repeatedly. He is then joined by another individual who beats the man on the floor with a large red-and-white road sign several times.
The cameraman then appears to move further down the road and film a second man lying topless by a crossing being hit and kicked by a group of men, with several others standing around watching.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said today: “On Monday September 7 police were called to reports of a group of males fighting in Brick Lane, E1. Officers from Tower Hamlets Borough attended and found a man, believed aged 36, injured. He was taken to hospital. His injured were not life threatening and he has subsequently been discharged.
“No other victims were at the scene, but officers believe there could be two outstanding. Officers from Tower Hamlets CID are investigating and are keeping an open mind regarding any motive.”
There have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing.
According to Breitbart
The first video was initially posted on the Muslim interest Spotted: Luton Bury Park Facebook page, entitled: “Man beaten up by local in Brick lane when he deliberately pissed outside a mosque.” The page claimed the man was a member of the group Britain First.
Mamun Rahim Rahman commented below the video: “He will never forget this beating, but how do you know that he is a Britain First member?” . . . However, later in the comment section, they appear to rescind the claim.
A waiter at the Eastern Eye Balti House – outside which the third man was attacked – said he did not know what triggered the incident. The man, who asked not to be named, told the Standard: “It was closing time so I came out and there was police and ambulance there already. . . We gave the guy blankets from the restaurant because he had no clothes to cover him. He was talking, we were talking to him asking if he was alright, and neighbouring restaurants came with blankets too. You have to help someone if they’re lying down like that.”
