Watch: Protesters chant ‘Allahu Akbar’ after policeman ‘stamps on man’s head’ at Manchester Airport

From the Telegraph

Kicking a man when he is down is generally considered ‘foul play’ and ‘not terribly British’. It is unprofessional but in the context of the events leading up to it, understandable.  Generally omitted are the details of the struggle officers had to subdue the man and his associates minutes before, and the injuries sustained by a policewoman who is out of shot.  I gather at the least she received a broken nose (confirmed below)

Hundreds of protesters gathered outside a Rochdale police station overnight and chanted “Allahu Akbar” after an armed officer was filmed apparently stamping on a man’s head at Manchester Airport.

It sparked a mass demonstration at Rochdale police station with protesters heard shouting “Allahu Akbar”, meaning “God is the greatest”, and “shame on you”.

Assistant Chief Constable Wasim Chaudhry, said GMP understood “the immense feeling of concern and worry that people feel about our response…We have already referred our actions to the Independent Office for Police Conduct and will be in further discussions with them today,” he said.

A GMP spokesman said: “Officers were called to reports of an altercation between members of the public in Terminal 2 at Manchester Airport. Whilst attempting to arrest one of the suspects of the earlier altercation, three officers were subject to a violent assault, where they were punched to the ground.

“A female officer suffered a broken nose and all three were taken to hospital for treatment.

“As the attending officers were firearms officers, there was a clear risk during this assault of their firearms being taken from them. Four men were arrested at the scene for affray and assault on emergency service workers.

“We acknowledge the concerns of the conduct within the video, and our professional standards directorate is assessing this.”

I wonder how many of the men outside Rochdale police station were friends and customers of the rape gangs who abused young English girls being used as sex slaves?

Listen to the threats of violence if they don’t get lots of concessions.

“see we can cause havoc and we can cause riots and no one can stop us, but we are going to be peaceful today, (bleeping of bad language) but I tell you boys if tomorrow we don’t get justice these m*therf*ckers are going to get it! Yeah!”
