Egyptian Researcher Islam Behery: Days Of The Caliphate Were Dark And Bloody

Here.

Forget the Caliphate, the days of the Caliphate were dark and bloody. Forget the ideal of the Caliphate, it was a terrible thing, right up to the Ottomans, “may they be cursed.”. And forget the Traditions — that is, the Hadith. That is where we have the massacre of the Banu Qurayza prisoners, that is where we find the attack on the Khaybar Oasis. They’re not in the Qur’an. Stick to the Qur’an. Sola scriptura.

It can’t work, for many and for a long time. Those attempting it, if they are not just trying, as some “reformers” in the West are, to merely prolong unwariness, but doing it in Egypt or another Muslim land, can be taken at face value, like Islam Behery here, and valued.
