Russia is well rid of him, and so is Tajikistan.
Thought for the day: suppose that, whilst at a loose end in Moscow, this young man had – rather than embracing more and more Islam – been evangelised – whether by an Orthodox Christian equivalent of the redoubtable Fr Zakaria Botros, or by some fervently-faithful Russian Evangelical Protestant – and had apostasised from Islam, and soundly converted to Christianity. He would still be alive, and he would still be in Russia, living peacefully, law-abidingly and, in however modest and small a way, productively, amongst his Russian neighbours.
That is something for any facile moral equivalencers to think about, should they stumble in here.
