Muslim man arrested at Speaker’s Corner for threatening to slit the throat of woman speaker.

SHE threatened our prophet and I have freedom of speech.

I posted on Friday about the intention of  Kellie-Jay Keen, founder of Let Women Speak, to led women in a rally of women speaking in Whitechapel the following day (Saturday 27th). The purpose being that women are not just urged to be silent about transwo men in women’s safe spaces (and jobs, and sports teams, and same sex events . . . ) but under islam not only are women’s voices silent, their faces and bodies are covered and hidden and they do not exist outside the home, and there they are expected to be subservient.  She was told that the group’s safety could not be guaranteed in Whitechapel (there was to be a large counter protest) and so the meeting was moved to nicer, gentrified Victoria Park. Where it went off safely, despite abuse and the police issuing a Section 14 restriction notice on Let Women Speak, but not Stand up to Racism and their pro-trans goons.

Let Women Speak went to Speakers Corner in Hyde Park the following day (Sunday 28th)

The threats and abuse were worse.

This is the man who threatened to cut Miss Keen’s throat for criticising his prophet and ‘talking shit’. I don’t know what she specifically said but there is a lot of scope for constructive criticism.

She reported him to the police and identified him. He insisted  that he had freedom of speech because she ‘threatened our prophet’ There are two bits of video here, listen to them both.

Opinion is divided about the very tiny policewoman who leapt out of the police van to assist Miss Keen, taking her complaint seriously. Some commend her willingness to do her duty and take the complaint seriously; others deplore the ability of a small slight young woman (without a gun – this is Britain) to handle a hulking great stropy Muslim. Her colleagues were larger and they dealt with him.  My husband and I were both too short to join any British police force under the height requirements of our youth.  I think there is a case for reinstating the requirement.

Anyway he was taken away in custody. I can’t find out if he was charged with anything, and if so when his court appearance is. He may have just been warned and let go once he was away from the flashpoint.

There is only one ‘news’ report other than X. The nasty mouthpiece for the anti-racism industry that is The Canary. They call Miss Keen ‘Nazi Barbie,’ and a ‘rancid, far-right TERF’ which gives you an idea of their level of intellect and discourse.
