Ouch!  Reflecting On Birthdays

By Reg Green
Many Iconoclasts will know Red Skelton’s immortal Algie and the Bear, which goes:
Algie saw the bear
The bear saw Algie
The bear was bulgy
The bulge was Algie.
In honor of our 250th birthday, I’ve updated it:

Algie saw the pool

The pool saw Algie
The pool was sludgy
The sludge was algae.
