Pro-Palestine protesters yell ‘f*** Jews’ in Finchley Road. Update. 4 arrests confirmed

This is vile. But what does one expect? Update from TV news – police have made four arrests. Confirmed via Twitter.

From the Hendon and Finchley Times

A convoy of cars draped in Palestinian flags with yells of “f*** the Jews’ were filmed travelling through north London today.

A video shared on social media shows the cars travelling along the Hampstead area of Finchley Road today (May 16), with one man yelling through a loudspeaker. Very well known Jewish area.

The video is here. If I can find a copy that I can embed I will so do. Update – this one is quite clear.

In the clip, the man can be heard saying ‘f*** the Jews, f*** the movement, f*** all of them.”

He went on to say, in a road with one of the largest Jewish community centres – JW3 – : f*** their mothers, f*** their daughters and show your support for Palestine’.

The man can also clearly be heard saying ‘rape their daughters, we have to send a message’

Housing Secretary Rt Hon Robert Jenrick also took his thoughts on Twitter and said: “This, on the streets of London is deeply disturbing. Vile, criminal hatred like this must not be tolerated.”

The Prime Minister tweeted “There is no place for antisemitism in our society. Ahead of Shavuot, I stand with Britain’s Jews who should not have to endure the type of shameful racism we have seen today.”

Labour MP Tulip Siddiq (whose constituency this is) condemned the ‘horrifying’ scenes of anti-Semitism in Finchley, adding that there is ‘no place’ for ‘vile hate speech’.

‘I have seen the footage of horrifying antisemitic behaviour on the Finchley Road in my constituency.  It has been referred to the police and I hope action can and will be taken. This vile hate speech has no place in Hampstead and Kilburn or anywhere else.’

The good news is that the Metropolitan Police have identified one of the cars “and are making enquiries to locate the occupants”

Nobody will admit to being in any of the cars. They will all say “it was my brother/cousin who looks like me (ringing is SO common in that ethnic group). Unable to pin the language down on any individual the police will hope the fuss dies down.

Another motorcade is planned for this evening.  An outfit called “roadblockerz” seems to be involved. Hopefully the police being now aware will stop it. TV news says that some of the cars have been traced to Bradford and others to Slough, both towns with large Muslim communities. They can and should be stopped on the M1 north and the M4 west tonight, if not apprehended in North London.

I keep seeing calls to a big car rally for Palestine in Edmonton. Edmonton is an area of North London, not particularly Jewish, to the west of Golders Green and Finchley, and north of another Jewish district Stamford Hill. Then I realised; I’m thinking of the original Edmonton. This is the Canadian Edmonton, a much larger town.

Arrests confirmed

  1. Curious that the foul-mouths urge coerced animal husbandry with their preferred apes and pigs. That they seek mixed-species progeny is clear. Apes and pigs may resist the coercion, thus resulting in a fornication fracas and fortune for the filming pornographers.
